A few days ago I got the newest game in the Call of Duty series, Call of Duty: Black Ops. The game is set in the cold war era, after the end of WWII. At this time in history, hostilities between the United States and Russia were high. In the game you are an American soldier, who has a reputation for being top tier, and are sent out on important missions relevant to this time period, such as an assassination of Fidel Castro, and disrupting the launch of a Russian shuttle to prevent the Russians from gaining an advantage in space.
This game is considered to be a sequel to the game Call of duty: World at War principly taking place in WWII, and as promised; Black Ops has well exceeded the standard set by it's predecessors. The graphics in multiplayer mode in Black Ops are stunning. The graphics make you feel as if you are actually in the game, and the effective use of sound adds to this sense of reality. The new maps such as Nuke Town and Villa are good maps for many different styles of games such as Team Deathmatch, Headquarters, Free for All and more. Return of Nazi zombies was an excellent addition. Also, Treyarch has fixed their glitch with the 'Ninja' perk. On the previous games in the series, Treyarch tried to make the footsteps quieter to enhance the Ninja perk, but in the process made the footsteps completely silent, thus making the Ninja perk too unfair for some players, therefore was removed. Now that the bug is fixed, it just adds to the suspense and thrill of multiplayer mode.

Review: KFC's Double Down
You thought this was only about video games didn't you?
Nope, we have other things too.
Okay, so it looks so great on the flyer right? Comes in a packet, like the ones they give you fries in, or an apple pie in. Perfectly shaped. That's the flyer.
Then you go buy it, aaaannndd... It looks like vomit. Pony vomit. The chicken, is dried and deformed, the cheese is freaking saltier than the chicken, and the 'bacon'... It's not even bacon, it tastes incredibly salty and has no bacon qualities at all. It doesn't even look like bacon. If you want to hear the truth, then it really loks like demented dried tomatoes rolled out into strips. Then the packaging comes in a crummy little wrap that's not wrapped well. Worst part? It gives you constipation. For like 2 days.
Advertising: 5/5
Packaging: 1/5
Actual look: 1/5
Taste: 1/5
So, final rating is... 2 out of 5 stars. Horrible. Looks like crap, tastes like crap. End of discussion.

Kinect: Is it good enough to get?
Kinect is the new release from Microsoft for the Xbox 360. It is a new twist as it 'Takes the controller out of your hands' by allowing you to make a physical movement and it appear on screen.
"Kinect works using an RGB camera, depth sensor, multi-array microphone and a custom processor running proprietary software. The camera looks for your body, locks onto it, measures the three-dimensional positioning of 48 key joints in your anatomy and ignores everything else. Simple. So you can forget about the annoyances of poor lighting or furniture messing up the image calibration, which was perhaps the greatest disappointment with Sony's PlayStation Eye technology. It also supports up to four players, so once you've bought it, you won't need to upgrade or buy multiple versions of the device."-Techradar.com
There’s no denying that Kinect is a fascinating piece of technology that has the potential to help continue the evolution of gaming into new and exciting frontiers. The retirement of the standard controller is inevitable, so other ideas such as Kinect look promising but in my view Kinect simply isn’t ready for prime time right out of the box. Right now there aren't many games out that work with Kinect. Playing some staple games of the Xbox 360 such as Halo or Call of Duty would be a more exciting turn of events that a buyer like me would be very interested in. Perhaps in the near future, we’ll see some more games come out for it and some software improvements but only time will tell.

Call of Duty: Black Ops
Kk, so Call of Duty: Black Ops is gonna come out :D
Tomorrow. Well, technically, today, 11:59 PM. You can get copies for Xbox, Ps3, Nintendo Ds, and Wii.
So if you're asking there's normal/regular edition, Hardened edition and Prestige edtion. The regular edition, which is just the game costs $59.99 at Future Shop & Best Buy, but if you want it a bit cheaper; if you're just so asian fob-wash like that :), you can go to Wal-Mart or Zellers and get it for $59.83. Hardened edition is $20.00 more expensive at $79.99 (The Wal-mart/Zellers 16¢ cheaper rule still aplies, even for Prestige), is a good buy, for it includes, the game, 4 extra playable bonus maps for co-op, PSN/Xbox Live theme and avatar outfit, plus a Black Ops collectors medal. Prestige, which is quite expensive, and not all that worth it, is $149.99, including everything in the Hardened edition, plus a RC-XD Surveillance Vehicle, designed after a vehicle in the game. When it says 'surveillance' I'm not sure if it has video capabilities, because, if not $70.00 range from the Hardened edtion would not be worth it, unless you're a hardcore collector, who has that money to spend ^.^. Also, here's a tip: You asian? Fob? Love free stuff? Collector?
If you're any of those you'll want to goto Future Shop. Tonight. At Best Buy, it's first 90 customers get a hat. Future Shop it's Black Ops Limited dog tags for first 50 in line, Intec® Camo styled headset and Blu-ray Rescue Dawn, for the first 25 people who get any version of Black Ops. And anyone in the first hundred to get a copy of Black Ops also gets a bonus map for gameplay. So this would work better, if you have a Ps3; since you can watch the Blu-ray movie. Also, the best deal here would be the hardened edition, with 5 bonus maps in total, if you're one of the first hundred to get a copy.
